Board of Secondary Education has declared the results of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage-1 on 14th February 2017.The examination was conducted on 6th November’2016. The Managing Director of Resonance Mr. RK Verma informed that total 263 students have been selected for the stage-2 examination & out of them 82 students are from Resonance PCCP Division and 5 students bagged ranks in Top 10.

Details of students who secured ARR’s in Top-10: Kshitij Bhardwaj from Kota Center who secured ARR 1, Varun Soni from Udaipur Center who secured ARR 4, Suhani Gupta from Jaipur who ARR 5, Druv Patwa from Kota Center and Shreyansh Gupta from Udaipur Center, both secured ARR 8.

This year’s Cut off for the Rajasthan NTSE exam is as under : Gen Category -137, SC category – 113, ST category – 125 & PH – 77 respectively.

Results Highlights are as follows:
93 Students qualified from Kota district out of which 42 are classroom students,Kota Study Center.
25 Students qualified from Udaipur district out of which 20 are classroom students, Udaipur Study Center.
07Students qualified from Chittorgarh district out of which 4 are classroom students, Kota Study Center.

NTSE is the most prestigious examination which is conducted at National Level in two stages for the students studying in class 10. Every year, approx 4000 students are shortlisted from stage 1 examination. These shortlisted students are eligible for stage 2 examination. This year NTSE Stage-2 exam will be held on 14th May 2017 in every state headquarters. Selected students from Stage-2 examination are awarded with the Scholarships by NCERT. Scholarships are awarded under the NTSE criteria-
Rs 1250 per month for Class 11th and 12th level and Rs 2000 per month for UG and PG level Amount for Phd to be fixed in accordance with UGC norms.
