RESONites Achieved Historical Success in Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO)
Total 29 Selections with 19 Selections in Rajasthan & 4 each in Gujarat & Mumbai and 1 each from UP & WB Regions

29 students of Resonance have cleared the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) which is the first stage of International mathematics Olympiad (IMO). 19 Students of Resonance has been declared qualified in Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) conducted for Rajasthan Region. RMO was conducted on 2nd December 2012. This is a remarkable achievement by the students of the Institute as only 41 students from Rajasthan have been declared successful for the Stage-2 of this prestigious examination.Total contribution of Resonance Students in total selections from Rajasthan is 46.34%. Result of this exam was declared on 2nd January on the website of Dept. of Mathematics, University of Rajasthan which conducts this exam.

12 students of Resonance, KOTA has qualified Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) while 4 Students from Udaipur Study Centre & 3 from Jaipur Study Centre have been declared successful in RMO.

4 Students of Resonance Mumbai have also cleared the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) in a separate result which was announced for Mumbai region. Similarly, 4 Students of Institute's Ahmedabad Study Centre has also been declared qualified for the Stage-2 of this exam. 1 Student from Lucknow Study Centre & 1 from Kolkata Study centre has cleared RMO & became eligible for Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO) which is Stage-2 of this examination.

RMO is the first stage of International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). Remaining stages will be conducted by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Mumbai on behalf of National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) under Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).

All the successful students will now appear in INMO which will be conducted on 3rd February 2013. INMO will be written test of 4 hours duration. Around 35 students will be selected after Stage-2 who will be called for International Mathematics Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC). Finally, 6 students will be shortlisted after this camp to represent Indian in International Olympiad to be held in July 2013.

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) finances international travel of the team, the leader and the deputy leader, while NBHM (DAE) finances the other expenditure connected with the international participation and the entire in-country programme.
