KVPY Stage 2 Result: 361 Students of Resonance eligible for fellowship

Resonance's Regular Classroom Student, Arayan Kumar Gupta secured AIR-5

In the series of remarkable achievements, students of Resonance have showcased outstanding performance in KVPY Stage 2 2018-19 Results. A total of 361 students from Resonance got selected for KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna) fellowship. In which 152 students are from Regular Classroom program and 209 students are from Distance Learning Program. This information was given by the Founder and Managing Director of Resonance, Mr. RK Verma.

  • This year, 7 Regular Classroom Students of Resonance have secured a position in the TOP-30 in KVPY.
  • In which 5th, 12th, 18th, 23rd and 27th Ranks from SA stream (Class XI Science) and 23rd Rank from SX stream (Class XII Science) have been secured by students of Resonance.
  • Top Ranks in SA Stream- Arayan Kumar Gupta secured 5th, Abhinav Sinha secured 12th, Tejas Bansod secured 15th and Utkarsh Pratap Singh secured 18th Rank. All of these students are from Resonance Kota Study Center.
  • Top Ranks in SX Stream - Leena, a student of Resonance Pre-Medical Division secured 23rd Rank and Kottamasu Sai, a student of Resonance Base Bangalore Study Centre secured 87th Rank.

Out of 361 qualified students for this prestige Central Government fellowship:

  • 88 students are from Kota Study Centre; 30 students are from Karnataka Base Study Centre; 9 students are from Udaipur Study Centre; 6 Students from Nagpur; 5 students from Jodhpur; 3 students from Kolkata; 2 students each from Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, Raipur Study Centre; 1 student each from Agra, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai and Surat Study Centre are eligible for KVPY fellowship.
  • 209 students from Resonance Distance Learning Program are eligible for KVPY fellowship.
  • Students of Resonance JNV Bundi performed brilliantly in KVPY 2018-19. 13 students from Resonance JNV Bundi are eligible for the KVPY fellowship.
  • Deep Majumdar, a DLPD (Distance Learning Progam) student has secured AIR-1 in SC/ST Category (SX Stream).

The objective of the program (KVPY) is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country. This is a remarkable program as students who qualify for KVPY scholarship program shall be receiving scholarship till their post-graduation for pursuing basic Science courses and research career in Science. Students must also secure 60% for General Category in XIIth Boards and 50% for SC, ST and Physically Disabled students. Students will be given a scholarship of Rs. 5,000 every month in the three-year tenure of B.Sc. and Rs. 7,000 every month during the two years of M.Sc. Apart from the aforementioned scholarship, students are entitled to a grant of Rs. 20,000 every year during their graduation and Rs. 28,000 every year during their post-graduation.
