RESONites perform excellently in International Olympiad Part-1

Students of Resonance, a premier Institute for competitive examinations coaching, have shown excellent performance in the ‘Indian Olympiad Qualifier’, the first stage of the ‘International Olympiad’, jointly organized by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education and Indian Association of Physics Teachers.

Earlier, 70 students of the Institute had marched into the first list after securing more marks than the Merit Index (MI) or the Minimum Admissible Score (MAS). In the recently announced results, 20 students of Resonance have qualified in Part-I and moved on to Part-II. As a next step in the process, the answer sheets of Part-II of these qualified students will now be evaluated.

Out of these 20 selections, subject-wise distribution is as follows: -

It is noteworthy that after the II stage, approximately 35 students from all over the country are selected for the III stage of the competition. From amongst these, 4 to 6 students finally make it to the International Olympiad.

Resonance has been preparing students for the International Olympiad since 2006 and to date, 52 students of the Institute have secured Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal in the competition. Founder and Managing Director of the Institute Shri RK Verma has congratulated all the qualified students on this achievement and wished them a bright future ahead.
