Student of Resonance Jaipur Study Centre - Mr. Amit Panghal has won Bronze Medal in 42nd International Chemistry Olympiad 2010 (IChO 2010).

Out of the 4 selected students, 1 student from Kolkata and 2 students from Mumbai won silver medals apart from Amit who won bronze medal in the final stage which was held from 19 - 28 July 2010 at Tokyo, Japan. Total 72 Countries participated in the International Chemistry Olympiad 2010.

A total of 4 students from India got selected for the final stage, out of which Amit was the only student from Rajasthan. Amit Panghal is a student of Yearlong Classroom Contact Programmes (YCCP) of Resonance and secured All India Rank - 563 in general category (AIR-563) in IIT-JEE 2010.He also secured All India Rank - 364 (AIR-364) in AIEEE.

This is the consecutive year when a student of Yearlong Classroom Programme of Resonance, Jaipur won medal in International Chemistry Olympiad, Last year Shruti Khatri won a silver medal for INDIA in the 41st International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO-2009).

The International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) has been conducted since 1968, and is a competition for students at the secondary and higher secondary school levels. The IChO boosts the level of chemistry education in the participating countries. It helps develop friendly relations between the young people from different countries.
