The Gem of Resonance Priyanshu Yadav grabbed Gold medal in IJSO 2019

It was a prestigious moment for India when the first time it happened in the history of IJSO that all the six representatives of India won gold medal and one of those six Priyanshu Yadav is a student of Resonance PCCP division.

This Olympiad was held in DOHA from 3rd December to 12 December 2019. 322 students from 55 Nations participated in the final stage of 16th IJSO 2019.

The Managing Director of Resonance Mr. R.K. Verma congratulated & wished him for his upcoming targets. He excelled not only in IJSO but also in other Olympiads like –NTSE (Secured 3rd Position in Rajasthan in stage 1), PRMO, IESO & 10th Board results.

International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is a competition in science for students who are fifteen years or younger on 31 st December of the competition year. IJSO aims to promote interest in science among school students, exposing them to problem solving, critical thinking and experimentation. Over the years IJSO aims to positively impact science and mathematics education at school level.

In the stage-I of various Olympiads of Indian National Olympiad’s, around 300 students are selected for the stage-II. Out of them, total 35 students are selected for the OCSC (Stage III). OCSC consists of practical & theoretical based exam, 60% weightage is given to theory part & 40% weightage is given to practical part. Out of the 35 students, 6 students are selected from OCSC who represent country at International platform.

The Final stage is also comprises two individual theoretical tests followed by a practical test. These tests should be the result of a team effort of all involved students. The aim of this science competition is to introduce the students, at a young age, to an international network of beta enthusiasts. In addition it promotes and rewards the pursuit of excellence in scientific endeavor and stimulates gifted students to further develop their talents in Natural Sciences.

Resonites are consistently showing their abilities in International Olympiads. In the year 2015 Pawan Goyal, Yash Gupta & Lay Jain made India proud of them by winning 3 Gold medals in 12th IJSO held at South Korea.
