NCERT has announced the most awaited result of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage 2 2019. The NTSE exam was held on 16th June 2019 in all the state headquarters across the country.


In the declared results, a total of 286 students are from Resonance. And amazingly 236 of the selected students are from Resonance Classroom Program and 50 students are from Distance Learning Program.

From Resonance Lucknow Classroom,  a total of 4 students, Amandeep Upadhyay, Arya Vardhan Singh, Divyansh Verma & Saugat Kannojia have cleared NTSE Stage-2 and are eligible for the scholarship.

We are glad to announce that Student Amandeep Upadhyay has secured Rank 1 in GEN-PH category in NTSE stage 1.

It is a moment of Pride for Resonance, total 2160 students have been qualified for NTSE Scholarship so far since 2006.

NTSE is a merit-based scholarship exam for class 10th students. It is conducted in two stages. It is one of the most prestigious scholarship exam in India. NTSE can be taken by Indian students as well as Indian students studying abroad.
 

This year's cut off was as under:

For General Category : 134 marks, OBC Category : 116 marks, SC Category : 105 & ST Category : 93 marks. 

Last year's cut off of the exam was 150 marks for the General category.
 

From this year onwards the selection quota for NTSE is increased from 1000 to 2000. And the selection quota has also been revised for all the States & Union Territories.
 

Each State/Union Territory is allotted a quota for the Stage-2 exam & the students who qualify Stage-1 are eligible to appear for Stage-2 exam. Around 8000 students were selected for the second round from all over India. Total, 2103 students have been selected for the scholarship this year.
 

Scholarships:- About two thousand scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows:

Rs 1250 for Higher/Senior Secondary level.

Rs 2000 (under-graduation and post-graduation). 

Scholarship amount for Ph.D. is fixed according to the UGC norms.
