Q.1 What is the criterion of admission in various programmes being offered by Resonance?
Ans.
Q.2 Will the preparation at Resonance help my ward to undertake competitive examinations
other than IIT-JEE?
Ans. The course curriculum which is covered at Resonance is as per the syllabus
of IIT-JEE. The portion of IIT-JEE is so vast that it almost covers the syllabus
of all other engineering competitive examinations. However, few topics are not included
in the syllabus of IIT-JEE but are included in the syllabus of class XII board portion
; For such topics, we do arrange extra classes for students of class-XII once we
complete with their IIT-JEE syllabus. At the end of the Academic Session, we do
conduct AIEEE Preparatory Test (APTs) to give our students a rehearsal of the other
exams. Also, all the other prominent competitive examinations including IIT-JEE,
AIPMT, AIEEE, BITSAT, VIT are objective in nature and the students at Resonance
are given sufficient practice for solving such problems.
Q.3 What is the Teaching Methodology followed at Resonance?
Ans. At Resonance, commencement of Regular Classes is preceded by the fine outlining
of the course plan; it ensures at par progress of course and uniform coverage across
all the batches against the time line. Normally, the duration of a lecture (any
subject) is approximately 90 minutes; it is devoted for both theory and discussion.
Daily Practice Problems (DPPs): Students are given Daily Practice Problems (DPPs)
which includes the problems based upon portion studied in the previous class(es),
thus it helps in assimilating the subject learnt and helps in revision. The DPPs
are then discussed in the lectures so the students have a platform to raise their
doubts and participate in interactive discussion sessions.
Lecture Notes & Modules: Lecture Notes are dictated (in English and Hindi medium
depending upon the batch; as there are separate batches for students of English
and Hindi medium) to the students during lectures; in addition to this, students
are given Modules (sheets) which have exercises (level-1,2,3 & 4) along with
summary of the topic. Home work is given from these sheets which are then discussed
in the classes.
Periodic Test: Part Tests PT (i.e. test of the portion covered between two consecutive
tests) and Cumulative Test CT (i.e. tests of the syllabus covered till that date)
are conducted alternate at a frequency of 4-Weeks each. The student's preparation
is then evaluated at National Level as these tests are conducted at all the Study
Centres of Resonance as per the same schedule and syllabus.
Q.4 Is there any difference in the Teaching Methodology of the system being followed
at Resonance Study Centres in comparison to Kota?
Ans. Each and every Study Centre of Resonance is a replica of the system of Kota.
The Academic and Non-Academic Management is supervised from Kota; however local
functions are executed by the respective team members at their Study Centres. The
Course Plan of an individual study centre is framed and kept in synchronization
with the course plan at all Study Centres; test schedule and portion (almost) also
in coherence with others. The faculty team comprises of members who have relocated
from Resonance - Kota with few other team members who are residents of that city.
There is no difference in the Study Material, Teaching Methodology, Periodic Tests,
Discussion of Doubts, Infrastructure, Academic & Non-academic facilities etc.;
the only difference is the name of city.
Q.5 How shall we come to know about our ward's attendance & performance?
Ans. At Resonance, we offer the mentioned services to keep the parents informed
and updated about their ward's performance and attendance.
Student's Attendance in Regular Classes: We do take the attendance of students coming
to the class on a daily basis. Any student whosoever is found absent in the class
without any prior intimation or a sanctioned leave then a SMS will be sent on the
parent's mobile number of that student intimating them about their wards absence.
In case, of a long absenteeism, the parents are informed in writing and if the reason
for absence is not found genuine and satisfactory then a disciplinary action is
taken against the student which can be financial or suspension from classes. The
same procedure is followed in the periodic tests.
Student's Academic Performance: A Personal communication to the parents (3-4 times
by post) about the wards performance is also made by the institute in the form of
Student's Academic Performance and Evaluation Report (SAPER). It comprises of the
Marks scored by the student in the Periodic Tests held at Resonance, Centre Rank,
All Resonance Rank, Percentage, Percentile, overall Graphical representation of
the student's performance and a summary of student's attendance.

succeeding Monday of the test on our website under the Student's Corner section.
