Distance Learning Programme Division (DLPD)

  1. Offered for Classes-VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII & XII+ under DLP Division
  2. Flagship programmes include Comprehensive Study Material Package (CSMP) & Yearlong All India Test Series (YAITS)
  3. Other programmes/products include Mini-Test Series, Open Tests Series (OTS), Preparatory Test Series (PTS), Special Tests Series (STS), Special Examinations Study Packages (SESPs) and Rankers’ Revision Packages (RRPs) etc.
  4. Offered for Target Examinations like IIT-JEE, AIEEE & AIMPT
  5. Year of Commencement: DLPs for IIT-JEE in 2005-06, DLPs for PCCP in 2006-07, DLPs for AIEEE in 2009-10 and DLPs for AIPMT in 2010-11
  6. The Learning Methodology of DLPs involve learning at home by going through & practicing the study material, doing/attempting home assignments (Sheets), doubt removal through e-mail/phone, periodic assessment of performance through various tests and benchmarking of performance with other DLP students & also classroom students through common tests
  7. The subjects in DLPs include Physics, Chemistry & Maths for IIT-JEE & AIEEE and Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology for AIPMT . The subjects covered in PCCP:DLPs are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Mental Ability & Social Sciences
  8. The medium of instructions in DLPs is both English & Hindi for IIT-JEE, AIEEE & AIPMT while it is in English for PCCP:DLPs
  9. The admissions in DLPs are ‘direct’ on ‘first-cum-first serve’ basis
